Very nice stopped action on this Hummingbird Doug. Wow, shot at 1/250. Your timing was perfect. The pose is awesome. It almost looks like a dive, with the wings down and that tail up. The detail and the colour seen on the bird is very remarkable and I don't know what the yellow is, but it provided an excellent backdrop for this guy.

Hi Doug,
What a stunner. The front view is very special and not seen that often. The movement in the wings and the shallow DOF created a perfect focus on the wonderful colored body and head. I love the brightness of the BG.

What a beautiful in-flight capture of the Hummer.
Its a lovely composition, I really like the way the bird is placed in the frame and its a fabulous pose.
