Night Sky

| This photo required a 60 second exposure to capture this one. I was on a camping trip a few days ago, and that night there were so many stars, it was incredible! I wanted to get a photo of them which I been wanting for a long time. Were we camped so happend to be near some mountains which were in Eastern Washington. I thought what if I could capture the mountain and the sky in one photo, so I tried it with success. I also used the highest ISO possible which was 400 to get as much light as possible, and the lowest f/stop as possible which was at 2.8 and it was thanks to treknature that I know about ISO. In the sky you could even see the Milky way, and huge clusters of stars, and shooting stars, and satalites. The modifications done to this photo were I icreased the lighting which increased the noise, which was annoying, using picasa 2, then I resized it a little smaller than normal to help make the photo smaller to reduce some of the noise and to export into highest quality possible so that it can fit into the 300 kb limit. The original acually has better quality, but not much. It was a very beautiful night, and on the way home I got to go visit the North Cascadeds, but it was very hot! Enjoy! :-) |

nice bro, the stars are a little soft on focus but that is with the 60 second exposure and the earths rotation, looks like you got a great sky, I am used to that when I am in the mountains of Colorado, the sky is sooooooooo filled with stars, have you ever seen the sunset at 14,000 feet? it is truly amazing
