“Only one” is name of this photo taken on a walk in the park. There were two cygnets two weeks ago and now there’s only one. For some unknown reason, one did not survive. This young cygnet is certainly getting larger and hopefully he will survive.
This shot was taken in action mode, shutter speed 1/1300, to try and catch the droplets falling off his beak. The focus point was on his head. |

Hi Jim,
very nice photo of a cute cygnet. I would say, an excellent portrait of a bird. Although a little sad note to the picture.
I like the soft pastel shades - light blue and pink.
