Hi Bob. This looks like a water colour painting. I like the blend of natural colours in the grasses from the greens to the browns. As you say the birdswere a bit to fast but we can see the out line.well done TFS.
Nick..
Have a nice weekend.

Hello Bob
This is just fantastic.
Its the BG that makes the picture....You took the high viewpoint and planned the capture and I daresay the BG!!....I have had a go at swallows and martins and I got some good blurs of the birds!!..You have sharp birds coming and going against the most fantastic bg!!...Have I mentioned the BG!!

hello Bob,
You have chosen the right poem to go with your very artistic picture. Fantastique! We can feel the wind, the sun, the fine mouvement of the swallows'wings. Une image magnifique!
Belle journée

Hi Bob
A lovely view of these swallows - when I walk Coco (my dog) there a lot swooping over the meadows - I did not think it would be feasible to capture them - you have proved otherwise.

Namastay Bob,
A nice capture of this beautiful view of two swallows playing. Most amazingly how fast you are at this age. I like the swiftness of your hands just like these swallows. Superb work Sir.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Sincerely

Ah, they are playful critters, aren't they? I've seen many this year - and happy to have 'em since they like to munch on ants and other insects (as long as they leave my butterflies alone...) that can be annoying.
I have to agree that this looks like a water color painting. Lovely blend of colors...
Hi Bob,
Please tell me how you do this. You have frozen the swallows frozen in flight perfectly. They are sharp and clear against the marvelous blurred background. Gee, I haven't read Sara Teasdale for years. Wonderful picture, wonderful poem.

Hello Bob,
I spent about 30 minutes trying to capture some swallows in flight and believe me it isn't easy to do. They are extremely fast and you can't seem to be able to keep them in focus.
You've done a wonderful job at capturing these little guys in their natural habitat.
Your image reminds me of an oil painting. Love the color scheme, lighting and textures.

I don't think anyone else could've posted a similar shot, Bob!We see them from a distance, the forked tail of one clearly showing its rear and the other in some other manoever, over yonder! These images stay in our minds, we rarely get to freeze time, and you've done it!
A superb shot, Bob!
