Glad to hear you are doing better. At first I thought this might be Drift Creek Falls. Anyway, I really like the subtle treatment of the falls. Very original. Gary

...you only forgot the part about how I hate OG:-) It has absolutely no taste...unless of course you add 6 cups of sugar to your jam recipe:-) I know..I have done it! And I done it because it is supposed to be a good blood cleanser...I have since "changed brands of herb"...HA!
A neat presentation Ev...and a good interactive image of sorts...not really interactive but with the words...well ya know..what they heck...almost installation art..I suppose if one could add a video..I am rambling...

Hi Evelyn,
What and interesting image you present us today.
It's like if the trees were a camouflage, and then, at the back, the waterfall can be appreciated.
I like the parallelism of the trunks with the waterfall, the diversity of leaves seen here, and the depth got.
Good to hear you're doing better, hope everything will be going on well.
Warm regards,
JM

Hello Evelynn,
Extraordinary point of view and content due to that fall in the background.
And educational;-) referring to the Oregon-grape.
Well done

Hi Evelynn,
Great to see you venturing out and still with that camera in hand. Wonderful composition with the waterfall just visible through the foliage. Thanks for sharing Dear but be careful and lett your body recover.

Hi Evelynn!
Getting out and hiking in such beautiful and powerful places will certainly help you to recover quickly. This is a wonderful view with a great perspective. The detailed foreground helps us to penetrate the picture and to dive into this wild and untouched nature.
Kind regards
Markus

Hi Evelynn,
I am glad you returned to one of my favorite spots. All your photos of this park have impressed me of the beauty of it. I really like how you created this view. It shows us not only the plant life of the area but also why it is such a beautiful place....the falls. Everything in this photo points towards the fall but without making it the main subject.
I am glad you feel healty enough to make these short trips.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Evelynn,
i'm so pleased to hear you're out and about again, hopefully soon you'll be back to your old self.
Well, knowing where to stand is important in landscape photography, according to a certain Mr A Adams, and you proved it here. Lovely POV Evelynn, and those little splashes of red from the leaves in the FG really lift the image from the barrage of green! The waterfall is perfectly placed in the BG, it's just a shame you can't make more of it really.
Great work though, seems your recent troubles haven't effected your eyes at least.
all the best,
Paul

This is a rather nice composition! However it seems to be missing something, I think it is because it was taken on a cloudy day, it lacks contrast from the lighting, cloudy days can be a drag! But you've done a great job with the composition! Nicely done!
