Hi Bob,

I like the different layers of the image. The grassland fading out to them thar hills in the background. Some of the place names you mentioned brought thoughts of some of the old western writers,,,, Zane Grey etc. Just need a horse and saddle...

I love the purple and orange colors here but more than that, it is the presence and depth of the photo that is so well done.

hi bob,
if not for the notes i wouldn't have appreciated the image, its importance and its significance. tell me, what are those in the foreground (plants), with bit lower viewpoint was it possible to show them against the background. tfs.

Hi Bob,

There is such a variety of beauty in the USA. Amazing how the colors differ from area to area. These are not the colors we see in Arizona, and certainly not in the Northeast. There is such depth to this shot - we can look down to the pine trees and up to the mountains and sky. Beautiful landscape.

This looks a lot like some of the "rolling" lands we enjoy here in Alberta. You have "captured" so many different colours, all in one frame.

A lovely vista ,with wonderful colours.
The golden brown against the blue sky is beautiful.
Nicely composed from an excellent POV,the way the land slopes away looks great.
One could ponder quite a bit up there.

Nice colors and textures obtained here Bob, from the weeds in the foreground to the hazy sky in the background. My personal favorite is the stubble, must be from my days in the country. I can almost smell fall here Bob.

Hi Bob,

The curve line of the golden field is an asset to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background. The bushes in the foreground are framing well the subject. The nlight is ehancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
