Whitetail in the Early Lights
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This time of year, near first light, the deer who dwell near us seem as much curious as cautious. This one noticed me but didn't think it worthwhile to interrupt breakfast for the occasion.
The details of white-tailed deer, for those who wish to know, are readily found -- in my past posts and those of others, as well as broadly on the internet. What I wanted to show here was the deer in its habitat, to bring the feeling of a tranquil early dawn with all sorts of colors, light, and shadows. If there's such a thing as a mood shot in nature, that's sort of what I was going for. I hope you can live and breathe the setting, that you can feel it just a bit as you look at this, and not just see the place. |

Ya know I can suggest the obvious...but you already know....some folks might give you a bit more credit Jim.....it is certainly a worthy shot....44 views of an etheral deer? Looks great to me...My dad used to tell me that "Bob...takes money to make money"...Of course with exception of TN..I have always been BROKE!

Hey there Jim how are you?
Just browsing through TN and came upon this image.. talk about oozing atmosphere. Lovely shot my friend with superb early morning lighting. I can almost smell the damp fresh air as i peep into this image and see the little deer there. Lovely work I am suprised you have not ahd more attention on this one.
Thank you for posting
Kind regards Helen
