A wild Caribou fearlessly crosses my path in Denali to show whos boss.
The Caribou was very close, but I didnt want to zoom in too much as Denali National Parks amazing fall colours add a spectacular back drop again. I did not adjust the picture in PS, anything I missed that needs doing? |

Paul, this is nice shot. WIld caribou is wonderful animal. Coloures of the high grass and green pines are in good composition.

Very well composed shot and the dramatic pinks and purples all around makes a magnificent and unique setting for this shot. You might consider sharpening the image a little bit. Nice picture Paul
Paul,
Great fall colors as you stated, and the caribou appears to be the boss as he stands proud as he walks fronting your path.
I don't know the speed or F-Stop you used, but if the Caribou was not travelling very fast you may have wanted to use a deeper F-Stop such as F16 or so and a speed of 125 to 250. These numbers are on a film camera, so whatever you can come close to on a digital would be fine.
Nice shot....

Hi Paul,
A great shot, capturing the spectacular fall colors in Alaska. I also really like the proud stance of the Caribou. Very well seen and framed. Could have been a tad sharper.
