Unknown Flores

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
These flowers on the tree grow on Yukatan peninsula in Mexico. What a pity I do not know their name, so I called them "flores", which mean "flowers" in Spanish language.
Does anybody know, is it asalea, or maybe oleander?
I deliberately kept the palm tree's trunk on the right.
For the photo itself I added some contrast, sharpness and an outside frame. |

Hi Irina
I don't know the name of these flores, but it's a great photo!

Hi Irina,
I believe it is an oleander....lots of those on the Georgia coast too!
Great colors, well composed.

Hello Irina,
These are Plumeria rubra. Plumeria and oleander(Nerium oleander) both belong to the same family, Apocynaceae.
The picture is over exposed. Since you have already worked on the picture, most of the quality is already lost, and not much can be done with it in the WS. Still, I have tried to improve it in the WorkShop.
Regards,
- Nirmal
