Hello Chris,
I think this is a beautiful 'gift' for all TN members. But it's not only the butterlfy appearance producing the attractivity, it is also the way you present it. You show a nicely composed picture underlining the particular colours of this specimen. The focus is exact and sharpness is pretty good.

The colours in this exotic butterfly are amazing Chris.
I love the way they change colour when viewed from different angles.
This is a new one to me,and a really cool one at that.

Beautiful shot of a wonderful butterfly. More shots of Australian Lycaenids would be much appreciated. This has gone straight to my favourites. I really like the composition and the way the butterfly stands against the BG.
This may be a bit presumptious of me, but I have workshopped it a little and wonder what you think. Thanks a lot for posting this.

This is one of the most beautiful butterflies I have seen. The colors are amazing. I also love the shape. Wonderful shot showing off the copper and excellent details. The background is perfect.

It's colors and pattern are so well visible from this POV and set on that charming blurry BG they seem even more wonderful.
