From my archives...
This Duck (Mallard???) was enjoying it's evening bath right in front of me when i captured this shot. It was taken at the botanical gardens Wollongong, about 90km south of Sydney on the coast. |

Hi Mark,
Nice work mate. I like the way you cropped this shot. I'd say its spot on. The water flowing over the duck looks somewhat like ice - it's got a cool effect to it. Great colors, very nicely frozen 'action' - overall its a great shot. TFS Mark.
Best Regards,
Martin

Hi Mark
Pretty neat capture...well done! I like the nice detail in the feathers that aren't wet which you have captured and of course the water looks like a helmut on duck so that is pretty cool too TFS
Cheers

Hello Mark
A well timed capture, the water encapsulates the duck almost like shrink wrap.
lovely colours and details.
Very good focus and detail.

Mark,
I love the effect here, with the water moving, the action of the duck, and the overall composition. They are fun to watch, especially as they bathe - and no modesty here, but on the bright side, it's an awesome way to stay cool!
The focus and composition are great in that my eyes are where they should be: on the duck. Unusual shot, great POV, and also, a great way to start my morning!
Keep shooting!
Kathy
