Qld Day Moth
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Heres a pic of a Queensland Day Moth, also known as Zodiac Moth, that i took while on my camping trip to the Atherton Tablelands recently.
Very much like swallowtail butterflys, and you see them during the day, but they are actually moths. They come in various colors such as pink, yellow, blue.. i'll be posting pic's of other color variations in the next few days.
I am a little confused as to the species, and the difference between A.zodiaca and A.Metaurus. This is one or the other.
thanks for looking |

Hello Gethin,
I like the frontal point of view of this moth.
Nice color with contrasting green background.
Sharp focus at the head/eyes and 0leading edge wings. TFS, cheers,
/Tabib/.
