[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In case you haven’t already guessed it Rainbow Lorikeets are a favourite subject of mine, the colours are so vibrant and usually put on a pretty good show. I did some photo shop work on this because the sky tended to blow out everything else, some cropping to remove the tree on the left, Colour Balance, Mid tones Red +19 Green +11 & Yellow -12, tweaked the sharpness, but still had a small problem with the shadows under the Lorikeets chest.

It is fun to see how he is looking at the photographer, in this well composed image...

Hey Rick, great compostion, with beautiful colour and great use of your depth of field to isolate this guy. You've given me a challenge with your shadows complaint so I've created a workshop to see what we might be able to do.

WOW ! Talk about vibrant colors ! Just a gorgeous image... well composed, fine detail (great catch light in the eye) and good DOF, giving a soft BG, which allows the subject to draw the eye with no distractions. VERY nice.
