Hi Richard
Nice shot of Figbird. Good sharpness and detail. She stands out nice with the blue BG. Well Done and TFS
Tom

I can say I have never heard of a figbird.
If I saw one I would think it to be a sparrow probably.
Nice capture with deep blue sky.

I love the catchlight in the eye, Rick!
Awesome job done!

Hi Richard,

The male and female are SO different! I love the pose of this lady up in the tree. Nice colors and details and a wonderful sparkle in her eye. I've never seen a Figbird but this one reminds me of a female House Finch.

Hello Rick,
I missed this follow-up of the male, female nicely composed in the bare branches of the tree where it is sitting (a fig tree?) and well seen with pretty good sharpness. I remember seeing large flocks of them invading fig trees in N. NSW but the foluiage was too dense to get a good shot.
TFS this fine reminder,
Ivan
