[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken recently on one of the many trips I’ve done down to the Port of Brisbane.

I caught this White Faced Heron sitting on the bank near the hide just sunning itself in the early morning light.

I have done a Previous Post with all the details so I won’t repeat myself.

Hope you like it, and as always I really appreciate your comments and critics.

Details: Shot Raw and converted to Jpeg, cropped and re-sized, sharpened slightly for posting.

Hi Richard,

Nice sharp detail in the plumage and good highlight. It looks as if he is a bit cold seen from the puffed up feathers.

Robin

Richard, the mild morning sunshine has created a magical effect in this image of a White Faced Heron.
The contrasts are remarkable and enhance the image to a three-dimensional level. The colours too are just perfect.
I must congratulate you for this truly professional shot.
Regards.
Ram

Hi Rick,

A beautiful Heron in magnificent light. I hope it's a she because it seems all dressed up in her finery. The colors and shadings are superb. Super fine details of the face, eye and plummage. A nice natural setting and a beautiful picture.

Hello Rick,
Beautiful species well captured Rick. I like that it is all ruffled up trying to stay warm until the sun does its work. Excellent camera work my friend.
