[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Once upon a time there was a cute little Hedge Grasshopper that was rescued from the garbage bin.

Having had he’s picture taken he was gently placed back into the garden to live the life of luxury.

Unknown to the kind person who rescued him, he turned out to be a she, and is now the proud Mum of fourteen and counting :o) .

She is doing very well and the kids are doing fine (see workshop photo)

The only problem is that they are eating the rose bushes and the wife of the kind person who saved this little creature is not very happy, :o(

So the morel to this little story, take wife on holiday to a far away land :o))

So this will be my last post or a month or so were heading of to Egypt, but I will be back in early December and hopefully the rose bushes will have recovered, and I will have a lot of catching up to do.

Love life and stay happy ;o)

Hi Rick,

Your notes are a riot! Great shot of the he who turned out to be a she. Great colors and details and she looks proud of her reproductive skills. 14!! I can see from the workshop why your wife is not happy. I've always wanted to go to Egypt - give me a report when you get back. Have a wonderful trip and be safe.

Jane

Hello Richard,
I checked the garbage bin but no grasshopper...
So I'll there'll be no Egypt for yours truly.

Hello Richard,
you show an impressive portrait of this grasshopper. Nice details become visible due to the excellent sharpness
and high magnification. The display window is well selected.
Best wishes, Peter

Hi Rick,
obviously the clarity, details, exposure and DOF are excellent, but it's the way you framed this that gives it its character - very well done mate, great shot.
