"Kookaburras usually laugh longest in the morning and the late afternoon. They can live for 20 years. A kookaburra's beak can grow up to 10 cm long. The laughing kookaburra is the largest kingfisher in its family. The Laughing kookaburra is found in the Eastern and Southern states of Australia. It has been introduced to Tasmania, Western Australia and to New Zealand."

Hello Jeanne,
A fine capture of a Kookaburra taken from a great POV with excellent sharpness that makes it stand out well from the OOF but busy natural Bg.
I like the composition and the lighting through the tail, though IMHO it is a little too closely cropped.
