I took this underwater photo during a shark feed while on a Live-a-Board on the Great Barrier Reef. This was an interesting situation. There was one fish head still tied up after all the sharks had ripped off all the others. The dive leader had to go cut it off the line with sharks circling. I took a number of photos of him doing this – but this one is pretty amusing.
You can also see the big grouper/cod in this photo. It’s funny how every time I’ve seen sharks get fed – there is always a big grouper hanging around – that manages to steal a large piece of fish. During this dive the grouper got a big piece & took off. A shark followed & was trying to grab the fish from the groupers mouth…. That was pretty amusing also. |
