Hi Tara
Your picture is interesting. The wood is very old hence the grey washed out look, it is not overexposed. I like the reflections in the water. I enjoyed visiting your gallery and looking at your pictures. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers
Sue
Hi JT,
I don't find this overexposed at all. I enjoy the point of view, and like the colourings as well as the weathered wood.I do see the starfish so it is also not out of focus.
Keep the gallery growing.
Doug.

Dear Tara,
I was disappointed to read this critique from a fellow member and hope you don't get discouraged by these negative comments, you have some wonderful images in your gallery, and I look forward to seeing more, and just for the record I like this shot, I like the texture of the wood, the splash of colours in the sand, the exposure looks fine on my laptop, all the best,
Cheers Rick :)

hi JT,
i like this shot.. it's well composed, nicely exposed, and in focus.. and yes, i see the starfish on the rocks under the water, as well as the mussels on the pier. well seen and captured. tfs

Hello JT,
I don't think your image is overexposed at all. It has an interesting point of view and is something I don't get to see often living inland in the USA. The use of a polarizing filter would take away the glare and deepen the blue in the water as well as may have given more contrast to the starfish in the sand under the water. Keep up the good work and welcome to TN. Thanks for sharing (TFS) Thomas
