Hi guys,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a good 2008 and that 2009 is fantastic! I certainly had a good start.

I've had the chance to visit the small isolated State of Australia known as Tasmania... and what can i say?? It's simply awesome..

The place is made up of 40% protected reserves, National Parks and World Heritage Area... The range of wildlife and wilderness blew me away.. I really had no idea what i was in for but have now fallen in love with the place.

This shot is from a small cruise i went on around an island named Bruny Island.. Incredible coastline and wildlife.

What a relatively unknown paradise... i thought so anyway..

Hi Gethin,

Tasmania sounded like a fine place to visit with 40% still protected. I wish to have enough money to go there :-)
This is a dream view for me with dolphins dancing around the water. Thanks for sharing and all the best in 2009.

Regards,
Jusni
