Australia Fur Seal Pups
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here's a shot of some Australian Fur Seal pups (Arctocephalus pusillus doriferus).
These guys photo was taken at some little rocky islands named The Friars, right down the bottom of Bruny Island in Tasmania.
There were hundreds of seals all around these rocky islands where it's nice and safe and sheltered. A fantastic sight to see!
taking shots from a boat is never easy.. it's constantly rocking up and down and you really have to work with it.. some thankfully turned out ok!
thanks for looking |

Hi Gethin,
Been a while and your gallery has grown pretty well. Nice to see these seals from Tasmania. I never thought that you have seals there. Fine sharp focus in good framing. TFS and have a nice day.

Jusni
Hello Gethin
This is a very good capture of these fur seal pups. The rugged back drop is super.
The POV is excellent well done.It feels like we are in their midst just viewing the shot.
Excellent sharpness and detail.
The subtle nuances in colour are well captured.
