[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of those shots you just have to stop the car and take. Cresting a hill in north-east Victoria one cold Autumn morning, the valley before me was cloaked in thick fog but there was a small glow of orange in the top of it. Suddenly half way down the hill the fog lifted and revealed the sun. I stopped on the road, jumped out, ran into a paddock and fired 1 shot. Then the fog was gone and it was just a sunny morning. This scene looked this way for only maybe 30 seconds. I hope you like it. Scanned from a slide.

This looks like it could be the cover shot. Frequently pictures such as this are used as backgrounds for font-laden magazines and even CD and DVD covers. I have seen many and the picture is sometimes what sells the product! Very nice.

A wonderful image! You might consider have it being scanned professionally to restore the original quality. Regular scanners tend to make images too soft. This one certainly would be worth the while. Kudos and well seen!

Another wonderful moody photo. As you mentioned, you really need to have the stop the car and make photos of such a wonderful atmosphere. The late sun and the fog add lots of mood. I am sure this photo would look as good in color as in black and white.
