Hi Murray, this is a nice sharp shot of this Lorikeet. Good composition on the dead branch. The bush makes a good backdrop. I think your reversal on the horizontal was a good idea.

I like the POV and all the beautiful colors on the bird's feathers.

i'd increase contrast a bit and sharpen the bird. you might also crop closer to the bird so as to emphasize it. nice colors and good pose by the bird.

Good shot of the Rainbow Lorikeet. I have some pictures of rainbow lorikeets in my gallery, and that's why i think that their colors have been unjustified by the yellow film. I find this picture a little too yellow so i tried a workshop to correct it. Hope you don't mind. Also it is a little soft in focus on the bird itself.
