The Snow Gum (Eucalyptus Pauciflora) is native to the sub-alpine regions of eastern Australia. They can grow to heights of up to 20 meters. It's distinctively colourful bark makes it a wonderful subject for artists and photographers.

Hi Steve and Ioana,

fascinating looking tree, i can see why it's inspiring for artists and photgraphers alike! Nicely composed shot shows the best angle of this subject with good contrast and shadows on the the bushes in the foreground.
