I found this boomer at twilight, when they usually come out to feed, munching on the prarie grass near our campsite in the Grampians. Here he is listening as I approach, only a few meters away.
In this picture, I love that the weight of the kangaroo in the foreground is balanced by the weight of the rocks in the back, which are part of why the Grampians are so famous--for their wonderful climbing. That's why my group was there, so this picture encompasses more than just one feature of the Grampians for me. |
