The most beautiful thing I have ever seen is a eucalyptus forest as it covers mountains that roll away into the distance.
This picture doesn't do this forest justice, for several reasons, including clarity, but mostly because it doesn't show that from where you stand, the forest and the mountains encircle you, and in every direction eventually fade into the blue mist caused by the eucalypt leaves. This picture doesn't show the cool air on your skin, or the sweet smell of the trees, or the majestic echoing silent movement of nature.
However, it shows a small part of it, and I love it for the memory. |
