These pelican pics of yours are really good Peter.
I can't get over their big funny looking black eyes.
Huge pupils like that are normally a feature of nocturnal creatures,(and nightclubbers;)
This is a really striking image...larger than life...but smaller.

Exquisite! I really like the details of the water droplet on the head, the one on the beak, the texture of the water and the beak compared to the feathers. Very good DOF and composition. Bravo!
