Eastern Whipbird Psophodes olivaceus
I checked the bird photos that I took in the last 3 and half years and the total number of species is 322. I can easily say that this bird is the most shy and the most difficult bird to take a good enough photo. I know, this picture is not good enough with crowded bg and branches but this is the best shot that I could take in whole 1 year in Australia. And I think this is the first upload on Treknature.

Hi Faith,

Nice bird, good depth. I wish a little more light to sharp highlights the black parts. I guess it was shot at dawn or dusk.

You have indeed done very well. I've only got twp shots of this species in 30 years!!! A very shy species that sticks to the undergrowth.

try to remove the white vertical branch of the bird body using clone tool.

Well done to get this shot. It is great to see birds in their natural habitat, especially when they are so hard to capture with your camera. I too have some not so great shots but they all gave my joy when I managed to capture a new bird. TFS...this one is great!
