A frill neck lizard - getting up to temporature on a tree trunk.

These lizards run on their back legs in an upright position and flare their neck tissue to make a more aggressive stance when challenged.

A rather fearsome creature.

Great shot Nick. Love the contrast of the brown bark of the tree against the redness of the lizard. Also I like the composition being vertical showing the lizard hanging on to the tree. Great focus and DOF. Thanks for sharing. Dean.
