[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The guy at the canoe rental jetty told me that Katherine River would contain 100% mineral water and offers save swimming. All critical spots would be signposted.
Obviousely this freshwater crocodile couldn't read because I discovered it far away from the sandy bank where the sign told him to have a rest.
Freshwater crocodiles can grow up to 4 meters but are said to be harmless and feed only on fish and flying dogs who fall off their sleeping tree. Despite of that
I somehow felt saver staying in the canoe ;-)

What an interesting shot, you were lucky Thomas that you weren't swimming right here in the 'safe' spot! Harmless or not, I wouldn't want to test it. TFS
