Adelaide Lion

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Adelaide Zoo is the home for over 3,000 animals and almost 300 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish exhibited in magnificent botanic surroundings in approximately 8 hectares.
The zoo focuses on endangered and rare animals from continents which made up the super continent Gondwana - South America, India, Africa and Australia (also South East Asia).
Captured here is one of two lions that were on display. This guy sat up and I believe was eyeing me off as a meal. He sat erect for about two minutes then dropped down to rest.
I consider Adelaide Zoo to be one of the better Zoo's that I have visited and if you have a morning free when visiting Adelaide, I recommend a visit. |

Hi John,
The photo is good espicially with backlight.Personally I am against animals being kept captive in cages unless it is meant for scientific purpose.
