Hi All,

This image was taken on the beach which is just below the Bluff at Victor Harbor, South Australia. I forget the name of the beach. What I like most about this image is the reflections of the rocks in the pools of water in the foreground. It was a glorious day when my friend and I visited the area a while back during Autumn my favorite season. It was a very steep decent down to the beach from the carpark but I thought it was well worth it. I thought a little otherwise when it came to climbing back up again.

The Bluff
(Rosetta Head)

This prominent headland is formed of granite. The granite originated when magma was squeezed up from deep in the continental crust during the mountain building episode which occurred about 500 million years ago. This is known because sediments left by the ice age, which occurred at that time, rest immediately on top of it, and boulders of granite were carried, by the ice, northwards. The smooth rounded profile of the Bluff is attributed to the erosive action of this ice sheet.

Hi Deb,
Nice image of this beach, I think it is called Parsons Beach from memory! I like the way you have caught the wave crashing down, and I like the late afternoon lighting. Well done and TFS

Hi Debbie,
I like your seascape with the action of the water in background. A very nice composition. Sight overexposure on the waves.
Best Regards,
Ken

Hello Debbie,
A well composed coastal scenery, the surf is most attractive and adds life...
I like the comparatively low point of view and the strong foreground interest, attractive colours and sharp details!
Greetings,

Hi Debbie,

Great capture. Beautiful beach, waves, ocean and rocks. Colours are naturel. POV, BG and DOF are oké. The shadow on the rightside gives a special effect. By the way The Bluff have you also in New Zealand on the Northern Island. When your looking for the 90 miles beach (up North on the westcoast) you will find The Bluff. Regards and TFS Bob

Hi Debbie.
You have found a very impressive POV and opened for us a very nice view. Sunlight and shadows at your picture are very cute, DOF and details of the image, its colours and composition of the shot are perfect. My compliments and best regards.

Hi Deb, Really good capture on this and I love the POV from the rocks, good and sharp, the DOF is spot with the waves, but the centre swell is a little hot, nice work...tfs Rick
