From Wikipedia: "The Australian White Ibis (Threskiornis molucca) is a wading bird of the ibis family Threskiornithidae, also known as the "Sheep bird". They are widespread in eastern and south western Australia.
This ibis occurs in marshy wetlands, often near open grasslands and has become common in city parks and rubbish dumps.
This ibis feeds on various fish, frogs and other water creatures, and also insects and garbage."

Hello Jeff,
This is a fine sharp and well lit capture of the Australian Ibis with a fine water BG.
I wouldn't have cropped it so close, but that's probably a matter of opinion.

Hi Jeff,
A very good shot on this Ibis. A good exposure handled the bright light well. Colors and detail in the head are really good. Some OE in the white plumage, but this would be impossible to get it all right due to the broad exposure range. Nice soft OOF backround of blue water is perfect. My only nit would be that it is cropped to tight. I think some more space on top and for him to look into would enhance this fine shot.
