[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This dragonfly was on the ground and flew up to land on a plant stem. When I saw the green leaves behind him I could not resisit snapping several shots. He was a good subject and patiently sat there while I set the camera to macro. I was really pleased with the result as I'm still very much a learner with photography.

Hi, Michelle.
I like it this picture. Excellent colours and very good exposure. Good composition, very well sharpned.
Regards.

The composition and the background are good : your picture conveys very well a "rain forest atmospher" (Don't know if that is indeed the case ?) But the sharpness could be improved, and your main subject is not well lighted and lacks relief. Perhaps a bit of flash would have helped ?.
Overall a good job with room for improvment.

A great first performance, Michelle.
Nice composition and point of view.

I wish you the most cordial welcome on TN.
In the pleasure to admire your next posts and to read your notes and critics.
Thank you for sharing.

Very good photo. I especially like the dark undertones, which I really can't explain, but draws me to it. Great composition, color and detail. Thank you and welcome to TN.

A little sub-exposed, but the composition is very good. One fill flash would decide the problem and would leave the photo best.
