I am not sure of the species of this lizard, perhaps someone can answer this for me. The blue/purple colouration of this lizard stood out, it's look and stance suggested it was quite territorial.

An excellent capture of this lizard. Sorry I don't know its ID. But a nice subject with great details and colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Peter.
Sure has a look about him, you captured that well. The focus could have been bought forward more on f/8, so the nose and eye were sharp, here the focus has come in behind the eye and I think the eye really needs to be sharp if nothing else. Does your camera have a depth of field viewing button. Great when you are doing macro with such a shallow depth.
He does have an interesting colour to him, sorry I can't help on the identification. Great pose you got him in.
