I was standing in the water at the most eastern part of the Australian mainland, Cape Byron, watching the strong waves smash over the rocks in the near distance. While I was watching them and taking photos, a strong splash of water caused by a large wave came gushing at my face, ending up in this shot lol :)
I hope you like it. I chose not to straighten the horizon, as it would take away the complete effect. |

Hi Claudia,
lots of great movement here and i like the straong light too, a risky shot to take with your camera, nice one!...isn't it a bit cold down there at the moment to be stood around in the sea though??
Paul
Hi Claudia,
Nice timing and wonderful capture of wave action in motion. The feel of the photo is of actually being in the photo and in the water.
Good photo,
regards
Matt.
