Hi Janice,
Nice capture of the Hibiscus with Solitary Bee. Good details, bold colors, and a bright/sunny look.
Makes ya want to get out there and smell the...Hibiscus? :-}
Well done.

Hello Janice,
Beautiful macro of this beautifully coloured wild Hibiscus native to Phillip Island. Great sharpness and well composed with the blue sky as a background. How lucky that they have saved it in time!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Sorry for being brief: trying to catch up on critiques after three days in bed!!
This is Oceania to me Janice. The sky and sun are upside down, and too blue to be true :) What a great lightning you have down there ;) Salut,

Wonderful flower photo you have got here, Janice. A real piece of art! We have winter in Sweden now, which means rain, rain, every day, at least here in southwest S. I only know about Norfolk Islands that Collen McCullough lives there.
Have to take a new pacific tour, I love the free feeling on the big waters.

Hallo Janice
A special thanks for welcoming me to Trek Nature. I appreciate your visit and the critique you left me. I am sure I’ll enjoy every moment and that my knowledge about nature and everything involved will grow daily, especially if an old hand (I mean camera hand) like yours and others are going to tell me where my mistakes are. Although this “Phillips Island Hibiscus Photo” is not your latest posting, I wanted to give my smiley to this specific one. Here where I am sitting at the moment at my desk, and look out I see a few of these lovely Hibiscus and Frangipani trees in bloom. It is really a lovely sight. I am also waiting for the day that I might be able to photograph a bee or a spider inside one of these, but I’ll be patient. War was not over in a day or two. At this stage photographing is a new adventure and I wish I had the opportunity to go out for the day and just click away. But on the other hand if that should happen, I’ll have to have a portable generator to load all the batteries, because the camera will work overtime. Coming back to your photo: The detail on the petals and sepals are good and I am sure this bee is quite tipsy of all the nectar he has been having.
Kind regards
Anna
