Great Egret Ardea alba

The Great Egret's overall plumage is white, and, for most of the year, when not breeding, the bill and facial skin are yellow. The feet are dark olive-grey or sooty black, as are the legs. During the breeding season, the bill turns mostly black and the facial skin becomes green. Also at this time, long hair-like feathers (nuptial plumes) hang across the lower back, and the legs become pinkish-yellow at the top. Young Great Egrets are similar to the adults, but have a blackish tip to the bill.

Hello Fatih,
wonderful catch of this Egret landing on this "Golden Pond". Did a good job on capturing the details. Could be a bit sharper, keep in mind with uploading you will loose a bid of the original sharpness so I compensate a bid before.
I also think its a bid dark and could be lightened to really bring out the vibrancy of the back ground.
All in all a wonderful shot though, hard capturing those birds in such a wonderful pose.

Well composed and wonderful color tone!
You catch well landing decisive moment.
And, I think that a calm small wave of the surface of the water achieves an effect to the entire image.
I like the color contrast between this egret and golden background as well as this beautiful moment.

Hi Fatih,
Superb shot and a wonderful moment freezed with great skill. Very neat and sharp image with lovely colours and lighting. The golden water looks majestic and sets up a fabulous tone to the image. Perfect lighting and exposure with a nicely chosen POV and a marvellous composition. Kudos.
