hi everyone,

heres a shot of what i think is a Crested Tern (Sterna bergii) in flight.

I found it patrolling the coast at Shorncliffe, Brisbane and keeping a close eye on the fishermen.

i think it's cool how they can tuck their feet and legs in like little landing gears.. =D

Wow, this is one beautiful picture ! You managed to freeze the bird perfectly, with excellent sharpness and details, in a wonderful pose. I also like composition, POV, grey sky as a BG, nice natural colors. Very well done !

Really nice in-flight shot of this Crested Tern, wonderful detail in the plumage, really good lighting, well framed, looks real good up against the sky, the OOF clouds help with the separation, nice work mate, its weird I took a very similar shot today of a Caspian Tern at the port of Brisbane :)
