Hi Susan
Welcome to TN. Your shot is well composed and I like the reflection on the sand and the capture of the bird. More detail in the eye and sharpness on the feathers would make this a really great shot.

Hi Susan, I like this dancing gull of yours. Your timing here was excellent to catch it in this pose, with the reflection, with the wave just coming in. It all came together very well in this scene. He's perfectly positioned in the frame, and I like the way the leg is raised, with those wings, it almost reminds me of the karate kid. Your shutter speed too, was very good in catching the wave foaming like that. For future reference, the shot might be a bit sharper, but for a first shot, this is awesome. Very nice start.

Welcome to TN. This is a lovely shot of the seagull about to take off, or maybe it has just landed? The reflections in the sand are great. While the bird is not quite in focus, it's a really good first post. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
