Hi Lindsay
Great work capturing this guy...especially at ISO1000. Nice detail in the tail feathers and background complements the bird. Where did you manage to get the shot?
Cheers
Sue

Hi Lindsay
You've done well here, the males are notoriously hard to shoot at this time of year. Amazingly low noise for ISO 1000 and great result from the 500. With that combination, you should be able shoot in dark Aussie forests with a problem.

Hello Lindsay,
How fantastic to be able to photograph this splendid bird that we had hoped to see in Australia. This is an excellent capture too showing its beautiful tail feathers. FIne details and wonderful colours in this great composition.

Lindsay, it's such a flighty bird - every time I am approaching photo distance - they take off! nice capture of a difficult subject - well done! mark
