Hello Mark,

You have captured this shy looking cockatoo with lovely sharpness. The dof is perfect for capturing the details of the main image but keeping the b/g blurred.
The soft light is landing on her like a small spotlight.

Hi Mark,
were you flat on the ground clicking this beatiful cockatoo, wow, you must have got pretty near as well isnt it?I like this composition, i love the head that's looking down with some shyness.The details are beautiful and the grass carpet and the OOF BG gives it a wonderful touch.

I think you've done very well here with this shot. The detail and DOF is very good and the natural background helps as well. If anything, I'd leave a bit more space around the left and top portion of the shot when cropping but besides that, you've got a very nice shot. TFS,

Mark, I have read your profile and noticed that your are an eager nature photographer. Well, I am already retired from active work and find great solace in following nature photography as a hobby myself.
This is a very good capture of the white Cockatoo bird.
The image is sharp and well composed.
