Water Bird

Ok, Here's another Amateur photo. This one is a picture of some sort of Water Bird on Humpybong Creek. I could spend hours in the bird encyclopedia to find out what it is, but it's the image that counts ;-)
I used my new 200mm lens on this one again, I tried baiting the whole flock of these closer to shore with some Bread,... Maybe i'll try wholemeal next time :)
I havent grasped the art of fine focus when zooming in this far yet, I've tried taking heaps of pictures but the more I try, the more I seem to think I need to try a manual focus.
What I did with this picture was...
-Cropped it
-Increased the Hue
What I should have done was increase sharpness a bit, but couldnt find a good balance between slightly blury, and 'too' sharp. |

Hi Steve,
Nice composition and details in the pens. I really love the sky blue water, exposure is well handled. No idea as to the ID. Very good job.
Regards Steve.

I like it - good colour saturation and it is a pleasing picture. Tim
