[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Peron peninsula is part of the world heritage area 'Shark Bay'. It is seperated by a fence from the mainland in order to reestablish little mammal species like Quoll and Bilby which are extinct due to the introduction of domestic cats and dogs.
This bright orange dune is situated right next to the shore and from the top you can watch dolphin schools in the shallow water. Due to the dolphins shark bay has become a touristic place and at Monkey Mia every day busloads come to see a group of about eight - 12 dolphins who pick up fish from the rangers hands.

The colour of the sky and the dunes look almost unreal.
Did you reduce the brightness a bit here ?

Lovely contrasting colors - I love the red sand. I'd like to visit some day to see those dolphins so close by.

One of the best landscape shots i have seen on TN.. WELL DONE!! Looks great with the colors, the sand in contrast with the dark sky!
