This is Wivenhoe Dam, located in the Brisbane Valley, in the Shire of Esk.
This large dam is "fed" by the Brisbane River and is a popular picnic place for many Brisbanites.

Hi Claudia
What attracts me most about this shot is the sky with all those fluffy clouds and the DOV. All that's missing is a bit of light on the foreground to hi-light the red earth.
