[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken on Jacaranda Avenue, Kingston. These beautiful Jacaranda trees were covered in beautiful bell-like lavender-blue blossoms. Some of them had fallen to the ground, creating a lovely carpet of purple amidst the greenish grass.

Jacarandas flower in Spring. After the flowers fall, green fern-like leaves start to appear and last until the end of winter when they fall off.

Hi Claudia, I love the colors in this image. The exposure is perfect and the point of view is great. This shot should be in a calender, or better yet, blown up to about 4 or 5 feet across and hung on a wall. It's such a beautiful, peaceful scene. TFS!

Hi Claudia:
The last time I was in Australia was about two years ago, right at this time of the year. Your picture today is bringing back a lot of good memories of blooming trees, fresh clean air, and good mates.
It's a lovely shot, with great colour.
TFS

Great shot Claude

These are fantastic trees except they make a mess twice a year. If your not careful then walking under then in bare feet can get you in trouble with bees that are still collecting their reward even after they have fallen off the tree

Well done
Gideon
