Court in Action

Ok, now this was quite a funny story.
I was doing photos of ducks in a pond, when I noticed two pigeons following me. Every time I stopped and looked at them, they would also stop and look at me, so I took some single shots of them. Then as I moved further they kept following me, while I was taking photos of the other birds. Then I looked back again to see where they were and this time they were "kissing" with their beaks. I thought that would make a cute shot, so I got my camera ready to Action Mode, but instead of getting a shot of them kissing, I ended up with....well....these action shots.
These pigeons are Homing Pigeons.
Some interesting facts about Homing Pigeons:
1. Homing Pigeons are able to detect the Earth's magnetic field and use it for navigational purposes. 2. Homing pigeons have been known to reach home by flying over 1000 miles (1600 kilometers) in two days time through unfamiliar territory. |

Hi Claudia, you have made a very good collage with nice pictures. It´s a beautiful work. I like it. I think the frames are a little bit to big. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Claudia
Cute collage and great details. I agree that the frame is too thick.

Very good presentation Claudia, I like it. Excellent detail, color and light in every frame. Very good progression of "events" as the eye moves through the set, from top to bottom. Very well done. Thank You!
A lovely montage, each shot is well detailed, well presented.

Ho Claudia,
J'ai hésité à mettre une alerte sur ces vues ! (HI)
Des images parfaites en netteté et en couleurs. La vie des animaux mérite bien un oeil amusé. Beau travail pendant que certains se divertissent. Gérard
