[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shows a creek in Tasmania's Cradle Mountain/Lake Saint Clair National Park. It is a medium tempered rainforest that grows huon pine trees up to 80 meter. Their trunks and branches are specially equipped against humidity and even fallen or cut trees will last for decades in the water.

The white water effect comes from a low contrast and rather dark motiv. Time was 1/15 sec with aperture 1.4 on that very good Minolta MD 1/1.4 50 mm lens.
I did not use a tripod but was leaning against a tree.

Hi Thomas,
das ist traumhaft schön.
Wie bekommt man das Wasser so hin dass es aussieht, als wäre es eingefroren oder aus Watte? Genial! Ein Bild zum Träumen, vielen lieben Dank und beste Grüße

This could be a NZ bush scene, so green and especially with those ferns. Nice image Thomas, and the water looks great too. Well shown, thank you.

bonjour thoma
j'aime le flou de l'eau que vous avez obtenu avec un temps d'expo pourtant assez court.

Hello Thomas!
Very nice capture.I liked POV,visual impact of slower shutterspeed, framing, lighting and composition a lot.
TFS...:-)

I really like the effect you have created on the water. Haven't been able to do this myself. Thanks for sharing!
