Glowworms
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a view from underneath the Natural Arch (Bridge) at Springbrook National Park. Underneath this cave-like rock formation lives a colony of glowworms. They were pretty to look at, glowing in the dark.
In my photo you can see the interesting patterns of the rock and also a few glowworms (the glowing lights towards the bottom-left of the photo). |

Hi Claudia,
I've heard of glowworms, but have never seen them. Nature is amazing! This reminds me of when some neighbors moved next door from California and had never seen fireflies (lightning bugs). They stepped outside one summer night when the woods were sparkling with them with the exclaimation, "Woah! What is this??!!" Nature is so cool!
I wish you had a macro shot of the worm...:-( But, the rock is interesting and I can see the glow...;-)
Thanks,
Dave
