[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Feg trees are very common all over Australia and mainly in the tropical and subtropical areas of the east and north east coast. This one grows in one of the hootest spots in WA - 600 KMs off the coast in a gorge with a permanent thermal spring and a rockpool.
Air temperatures in summer can easily reach 45 degrees + and the rock it grows nest to felt like a oven due to the high content of iron ore in it, which is typical for the Pilbara region.
